Vendor Wine Tasting, Sydney February 2016
Recent Tasting Held in Sydney on the 8th February 2016
During the year Wickmans will be holding a number of Vendor tastings around Australia at various venues.
The purpose is to allow members the opportunity to pre-taste a range of wines from selected vendors who are offering reasonable quantity of wines in current or future auctions.
This gives you the chance to help make more informed decisions about the wine you may or may not wish to bid on.
We will also bring along a few wines of interest to throw into the mix and you are quite welcome to bring something along from your own cellar and have it assessed.
Our first vendor tasting was in Sydney at
Kennards Wine Storage, Waterloo and 5 vendors offered their wine for tasting listed below. One of the vendors was not able to get their wine in for this current auction but will be featured in the March auction.
All the wine was well received, especially the Koonunga Hill (still drinking nicely after 21 years), Goldbeater, Hentley Farm and the Wynn's. There were a number of imported wines that were excellent and will be available next month.
